Its really sad how long it has been since I have blogged! Not a lot of stuff has really been going on except that Sadie has just been growing and growing. Its so fun to watch her learning. And its totally crazy how it seems like 1 day she doesn't quite understand how to do something and then the very next day... she's a pro!
Here are some pictures of my girl:
Mommy had fun with her hair that day ;)
She got her first tooth the first part of January! Followed closely by her second tooth right next to it a week later! Baby girl was such a trooper and just sucked extra hard on her pacifier and wasn't really fussy!
She has also developed quite a grip and knows exactly what her hands are used for! If you look at Daddy's ear and see how red it is turning it may give you a clue how good her grip is.
She is fascinated with Mommy's toothbrush. Every time I am holding her and brushing my teeth its kind of a fight as to who has control of it.
She is starting to figure out that she can be independent at her feeding times with a little help from Mommy and Daddy putting her hands on the bottle but then she takes it from there.
It may not look like it here, what with the blanket and all, but she is SITTING ON HER OWN!!!!!! This last week she really got the balance down! We are still working on going from a laying down position to a sitting position but she is doing so well!
P.S. About a month and a half ago she learned how to roll over from her back to her tummy over her right shoulder. But I think she is not as thrilled with that as we are. She only does it when she feels like it ;)
We are so proud of our healthy, strong baby girl! Its so exciting that she is just thriving and learning everyday! At the same time though I'm kind of sad that my baby, even though she is still a baby, isn't such a "baby" anymore. She isn't teeny little anymore... :( But we couldn't ask for a sweeter, happier, cuter baby in the whole wide world!!!
Happy 5 months Baby Girl!!! Mommy and Daddy love you SO much!!
